AFC North Teams

Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have quickly become the most popular professional sports franchise in Maryland with in-state sports betting fans. The Ravens also remain a very popular NFL team across multiple legal betting markets in the US.

As the Ravens, the new team went on to win Super Bowl XXXV on Jan. 28, 2001 by beating the New York Giants 34-7. Brian Billick was the head coach of that team. Baltimore made it back to the Super Bowl in 2012 with John Harbaugh as head coach. In Super Bowl XLVII, the Ravens outlasted the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 in a thriller.

Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow and the Bengals are one of the most popular teams among fans, making them one of the most popular bets as well.

Burrow and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, championship-winning teammates at LSU, led the Bengals back to the Super Bowl in 2022. Again, the Bengals fell short of their first title, this time to the Los Angeles Rams.

Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns have nearly shaken the stigma that haunted them throughout the last several decades, when they couldn’t consistently win games. As a result, fans are back in the stands and bettors are back at the window to get action on the upstart Browns.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the NFL’s most successful franchises and, as a result, extremely popular among fans and bettors.

The Steelers made six straight playoff appearances at the start of the Bill Cowher era, including a Super Bowl appearance in 1996. Sadly, the Steelers fell to the Cowboys, 27-17.

Less than a decade later, Pittsburgh drafted quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. In his second season, the Steelers returned to glory, as they defeated the Seattle Seahawks and captured their first championship since the ’79-’80 season.

The Steelers’ six championships are tied for the most in NFL history by a single franchise.
