Best NBA Parlay Picks

Today's Free NBA Parlay Picks will feature games listed below for Wednesday, November 1452023.

Payout: +260

Parlay Leg 1 - Mavericks at Wizards

Dallas Mavericks -6 (-108)

The Wizards lost in inexplicable fashion Monday where they failed to stop scoring entirely. That is not something a team can easily recover from next game.

Dallas played last night and were blown out as road favorites vs New Orleans. Road Favorites coming off a loss as a favorite are a play on.

They lost that game by 21 points as a favorite. The Mavericks are 12-2 ATS since May 2021 off a 9+ point loss as a favorite. Also, the Mavericks are 13-2 ATS since May 2021 coming of a 20+ point loss.

Washington meanwhile blew a 23-point lead vs the Raptors Monday. The Wizards are 0-6 ATS since 2021 coming off a loss where they led by 17+ points.

They were up 19 points at the half. Teams that are home underdogs coming off a game where they led by at least 17 points at halftime are 125-193 ATS. Also teams that lost last game after leading by 15+ points at half are 151-185 ATS.

Dallas should not take this game for granted having lost four straight meetings vs the Wizards.

Road favorites of at least five points facing a team they lost to last meeting are a play on.

Parlay Leg 2 - Timberwolves at Suns

Phoenix Suns -5.5 (-110)

The Wolves continue to impress with an 8-2 record but this should be a difficult turnaround situation.

Minnesota won a second straight tense game at Golden State last night, moving to 2-0 in Group C in the in-season tournament standings.

Minnesota takes a seven-game winning streak into this game and that run also includes wins over Denver and Boston for a very impressive start.

Karl-Anthony Towns played 42 minutes last night while Anthony Edwards and Rudy Gobert also rarely left the court.

Only three Minnesota wins this season have been road wins and those have been the last three games with narrow single-digit results, with an asterisk last night as Steph Curry sat out.

Phoenix is just 4-6 in a season with some roster transition challenges as well as injuries taking a toll as Devin Booker has missed eight games and Bradley Beal has missed seven games.

Beal recently returned and Booker is expected to be in the lineup tonight.

Phoenix enters this game off back-to-back losses while only 1-4 at home despite the solid favorite number but the Suns are 8-2 S/U and ATS in the past 10 meetings between these teams and four of the past five meetings in Phoenix have featured a larger spread than tonight's number.

The Suns still have quality defensive numbers this season despite the losing record, and this will be the third game in four days Minnesota while the Suns last played on Sunday for greatly contrasting situational set-ups for this game.

Look for Phoenix to rise to the occasion in a taxing spot for the Wolves.

WHAT IS AN NBA PARLAY BET?

Any parlay is essentially a series of bets strung together into one bet. For example, let's say that you have three bets on your betslip: GSW, Miami, and Boston all to cover their spread bets. Instead of getting a potential payout if one of those bets hit, you can parlay the three bets into one bet.

If one of the "legs" (say, Miami to cover) doesn't hit, then you get nothing, but if all of your legs hit, your parlay bet payout will be higher than if you had just hit three totals bets.

Typically, fixed odds markets like totals or spreads have standard pricing, usually around plus or minus 110. Your standard three-leg parlay like the above usually pays out 6 to 1, or +600 odds. Therefore, a $100 parlay bet would net you $600 in winnings, while three totals bets at -110 would pay out about $90 each. Clearly, the parlay is the riskier option, but with the higher reward.

HOW DO I BET ON NBA PARLAYS?

Betting on NBA parlays is pretty simple with the majority of legal online sportsbooks in the US. When you're looking at your selection of lines on your preferred book, most apps and websites have an option to add legs to a parlay right on the betslip. In some cases, you can even add whatever lines you want, and simply click parlay for your bets to be strung into a parlay of two or more legs.

Isn't technology amazing? Now that your bet is right there in front of you, you'll also be able to see your potential payout based on your stake.

Now that you see how simple it is, you can head over to our selection of the best NBA betting sites for parlays and place a parlay bet!

BETTING NBA TEASERS

Teasers are bets that let you essentially buy points against the spread, also known as "teasing" the bet. If you have a spread bet that's set at +/-3.5, NBA teasers allow you to give yourself more room by placing an NBA teaser bet and adding points (for example, a +/-9.5 teaser) to the spread.

Close games are hard to come by, especially in basketball: you're a lot more likely to hit a spread bet if a teaser is available. Your payout will be lower than a typical spread bet, though, because you're more or less "buying" that wiggle room. This is more like a parlay than a spread bet, too, because when you place an NBA teaser bet, both teams have to cover.

WHAT ARE SINGLE-GAME PARLAYS AND HOW DO I BET ON THEM?

SGPs or single-game (AKA same-game) parlays are as they sound: they're parlay bets that are all from the same event. For example, you could do a single-game parlay, if offered, on Giannis Antetokounmpo to score 30 or more points, Khris Middleton to hit 12+ rebounds, and the Bucks to win. Simply betting each of these individually would offer a certain payout, but stringing them into a single-game parlay would pay out more. Usually way more.

The best NBA same game parlays can be found on providers like FanDuel, BetMGM, and Barstool Sportsbook.

HOW DO I WIN MY NBA PARLAY BETS?

While we can't say there's a winning strategy to betting, there are always ways to improve your chances of making a correct pick, and it usually boils down to being informed:

  • Use the picks we provide. Our expert handicappers and sharps spend their time researching value in NBA bets, looking at team and player performance over time, injury reports, the works. Simply put, our experts are putting in the work every day to analyze and spot the best potential in the National Basketball Association.
  • Do some window shopping. All the best NBA betting sites let you look at the line pricing and even put together a dummy betslip without ever spending a dime. Whether you're buying a new crockpot or you're looking to spend your hard-earned money with a sportsbook, shopping around is a good idea.
  • Bankroll management is always key. "Winning" at betting doesn't mean hitting that one-in-a-million parlay that pays out $20k for a $100 stake. That's nice if it happens, but the real way to win is to protect your money long enough so that you don't miss out on value. If you spot a line where the book has clearly missed out on the value of an underdog, you won't be able to take advantage of it if you blew all your money on what you thought was a sure bet. Make smart bets, and protect your bankroll through promotions, smart bet amounts, and not making wild swings.
  • Parlay low payout favorites into high payout bets. If you've got the Cavs at -250, your $100 bet is only going to pay out $40 if it wins. Maximize your payout by parlaying that low payout bet with a few other bets, and you're looking at a much higher payout.
  • Don't bite off more than you can chew. We all see the posts boasting 20-leg parlays and payouts in the tens of thousands, but 20-leg Hail Mary parlays should not be the majority of your bets. Take it easy, and try to stick to parlays with no more than four or five legs.

There is one surefire way to win at NBA parlay betting: enjoy it! The point of gambling is the same as the point of a rollercoaster-- a little calculated risk makes life more fun. You're not going to be the next Mattress Mack (he started out a millionaire before he got into betting), but hey, you might win a bit of fun money. Using our NBA parlays guide and the picks that we provide gives you the edge you need to make smart, calculated bets. Plus, you can use our ESPN Bet promo code for up to $1000 in bonus offers!
