National League Central Teams

Chicago Cubs

Chicago nabbed back-to-back World Series titles in 1907 and ’08. Sadly, you probably know what happens next. The Cubs wouldn’t win another World Series until 2016, when they defeated Cleveland in seven games.

Cincinnati Reds

The Reds are one of the oldest franchises in professional baseball history, with their origins dating back to 1882. Somewhat surprisingly, the team has remained in Cincinnati the entire time.

Milwaukee Brewers

Despite being one of only a few franchises to never win a World Series title, Milwaukee has carried momentum from the 2010s into the early 2020s.

Pittsburgh Pirates

Since registering three straight playoff appearances in the mid-2010s, the Pirates have provided little hope of winning to its fans. Bettors likely have shared that sentiment and taken to the window to bet against Pittsburgh, rather than on it.

St. Louis Cardinals

The Cardinals experienced more success in the ‘80s on the back of their show-stopping shortstop Ozzie Smith. Fast forward to the 2000s and Albert Pujols’ arrival. Pujols, one of the greatest hitters in Major League Baseball history, led St. Louis to championships in 2006 and 2011.
