The 2024 PGA Championship will take place between May 16 and May 19 at Valhalla Golf Club from Louisville, Kentucky.

Betting on the PGA Championship has produced some healthy returns.

Phil Mickelson captured his sixth major at the 2021 PGA Championship and it was by far the most suprising major victory of his career.

The 50-year-old finished with a score of 6-under (282) and cashed tickets as high as 280/1 odds to take the major at Kiawah Island Golf Resort's Ocean Course from Kiawah Island, South Carolina. With 280/1 odds, a bettor would've been able to wager $100 to win back $38,000 ($100 wager + $28,000 in winnings).

While Lefty's win was eye opening, long shot tickets at the PGA have been very common over the last six years.

Collin Morikawa connected at 30/1 odds in 2020 and before him was the Koepka sweep in 2018 and 2019, which brought back 18/1 and 10/1 returns respectively.

In 2022 it was Justin Thomas who entered Round 4 with odds to win at +3100, and cashed when he defeated Will Zalatoris in a three-hole playoff aggregate.

Brooks Koepka cashed at 16/1 odds in 2023 to pick up his fifth major title.

In 2016, Jimmy Walker cashed a big ticket at 125/1 odds.
