SEC TOURNAMENT HISTORICAL TRENDS

-- Kentucky has owned this tournament by taking home an amazing 31 titles, including four straight championships from 2015 through 2018.

-- The last three champions of the SEC tournament weren't favorites as Kentucky won it in 2018 as a #4 seed, while Auburn hoisted the 2019 trophy as a #5 seed. In each of those tournaments, the top seed lost in their opening game.

-- The only SEC school prior to expansion in 2012 to not make the tournament championship is South Carolina. Both Missouri and Texas A&M have not advanced to the title game since entering the league in 2012.
